Advice to buyer: |
A markup over MSRP is not uncommon for the Shelby, its very sought after. Try to pay a 3-5K markup vs a 5-20K markup. They will do it if you buy in January or February. |
Detailed review: |
An awesome piece of machinery. The Shelby didn't even break a sweat when I let it rip on the test drive. This car has so much power that at times, you feel like Superman. A true collectors piece.
A legend in itself, I did not care about taking the initial hit for buying a new car such as this. Ford only allows each dealer to order 0-2 Shelby's a year, depending on whether they meet and exceed their sales goals. Also, this car draws a lot of attention from anyone and just about everyone. I am truly satisfied with the purchase, and when 10-15 years go buy, expect this car to start appreciating moderately. |
