Detailed review: |
I purchased my 2001 X5 in 2003. It looks great, feels great and drives great. BUT, I've had nothing but problems with it. Not engine or transmission problems, jut minor issues, which I find most annoying...interior door handles peeling (BMW made me pay nearly $300 to replay them. looked like factory defect to me), interior fan went out, rear taillight assembly went out (BMW made me pay for them at $250 each), passenger side door panel fell off, passenger side I-beam cover came loose, told I have to order a new one, hmmm...should I go on? You get the idea.
One thing I must say is that my service agent at bellevue BMW in Washington is awesome. I would have pushed this Lemon into a ditch if it weren't for him. Yes, I'm in the process of looking for something else. Time to offload this thing. |
