Get the Sport V6 - don't even think of getting the 4 cylinder!
Detailed review:
My Sport 4X4 V6 was hard to find locally, but what a combination! The V6 has awesome power - it leaps into a freeway merge from a standing start. Don't even think of getting the 4 cylinder. A sensitive foot on the accelerator helps to keep things smooth. The sport suspension feels like a sports car rather than a SUV - great road feel. The 4WD plows thru puddles - not just for snow. Excellent road visibility - easy to navigate in heavy traffic. Getting 22 MPG in mostly city traffic.
I loved the 18' alloy wheels and cool brown interior. The swinging gate was a bit awkward when someone is parked close behind, but the spare outside means more room inside. Lots of room for a 6'2' driver & rear passenger. Get the cargo cover and upgraded radio.
Outstanding!
