I was making the transition from SUV to sedan but still wanted all wheel drive and needed a little extra storage. While the term 'station wagon' brought 1960's visions to mind, the Avant, as they call them in Europe, is a far cry from your father's Chevy Caprice Wagon. It is, by far, the finest automobile I have ever owned. And the 340 hp engine is awesome. All the bells and whistles, superior fit and finish, better handling package than it's big brother A6 4.2. The 'Recaro' seats provide great support, the Bose system is remarkable. Poweer everything including tilt and telescope. If you want understand elegance and performance (keep in mind, 40 more horsepower than a Porsche 911), superior handling and safety, this is the vehicle for you!
