If it fits your needs, go for it! We didn't buy it, and I always wonder 'what if...'? |
Detailed review: |
First... I do not own this car. But we test drove it three times and strongly considered buying it. The reason we did not is because of how to get into the rear seats. The first time we tested it, I hurt my arm getting it stuck between the seat and frame when pulling the seat back into place. Well, I disregarded that as irresponsibility. However, on the third time we tested it, my daughter got her arm stuck between the floor and the seat coming down- (a moderate injury with bruising and a knot). Two injuries in three test drives didn't seem good to us. It might sound minor, but if you have younger kids and their friends that will be getting in and out and not always paying attention, it is something to consider. I loved the feel of the car and the position of the driver while driving. The acceleration was wonderful and how the transmission did not shift (which isn't really a transmission.... sorry, but I don't know how to explain it) felt different but I sensed that once accustomed to it, I would enjoy it instead of being annoyed with it. |
