I've owned mine for exactly one year as I write this. I'm 49 years old and I've always loved tr-6's and mgb's.
Is it a perfect car? NO.
Is it a practical car? NO.
Should you get one for a daily driver? NO.
Will it make you feel young and give you more joy than all the cars you've owned before? ABSOLUTELY.
Top up - annoying, cramped, hard to see out of, with gear noises.
Top down - most fun you can have on 4 wheels with your clothes on.
I will be driving a Solstice or a newer Solstice until I'm too old to drive, or global warming causes all cars to be outlawed. |
