Tinted windows and power door locks - I was driving a base model pickup for 10+ yrs. |

Detailed review: |
I've had my 2006 Escape Hybrid since the beginning of July. So far, I love it. There is no problem with the pick up or handling, it is large enough to carry what I need, but small enough to easily find curb parking. The gas mileage is also great for an SUV; with a mix of city and highway driving I consistently get more than 30 mpg. It is important to drive for the hybrid technology to increase efficiency, but even if I decide to ignore efficiency, I still average around 28-29 mpg. Also, temperature extremes will limit the mpg. It is a great choice if you want the decreased emissions without compromise of safety or elevated driver's view. |
