The A4 Quattro's transmission and gearbox are what makes this car a must drive. The shifts are quick, precise, and easily done giving you plenty of time to get in line for the next corner. |
Least favorite feature: |
The moonroof on the A4 did not tilt as high as I would have liked to see. |
Advice to buyer: |
If you want a quick car, and you don't want to pop for the A6 Quattro, this is a great car. It drives like a dream on city and highway roads and is so eager to rev and let the turbo do the talking that the A4 Quattro is one of the best all-around cars. |
Detailed review: |
Based on apperance alone, the A4 is high on my list of top cars. After having the expierence of driving one, my feeling of love for this car exceeded what I thought possible. This is one of Germany's finest. The Quattro had it all where it counted. The luxury interior combined with great exterior styling makes this car a absolutely wonderful. The gearbox on the A4 is the tightest I have ever expierenced making this car the choice for quick up and down shifts. With the down shifts comes the incredible ability to corner. The A4 holds the road like a champ. Exiting is great with the turbo kicking in at a perfect time. I think the A4 Quattro is a must drive for those who love quick times and great cornering ablility. |
