Detailed review: |
The Sentra is proof that lower-price new cars don't have to say 'cheap' by their looks and quality. I replaced my my 1991 Sentra with a new one and have been very happy with it. I looked at a Protege, Civic, Altima, Corolla, Echo, Jetta, and Focus and was most impressed with the Sentra for the price. I like the low end torque and quietness of the new engine, the driving position, the 7-speaker stereo, and overall looks. As long as you don't have a lot of rough pavement, you'll love the firm, well-controlled ride.
The pedals block where you'd like to rest your right foot when you use cruise control. The back could use more leg room, but 95% of the time I'm only driving to work. The back end looks a little dopey, in my opinion. If you do your own oil changes, you'll have to do these from underneath. |
