Favorite feature: |
Large moonroof.....trademark of Toyota, True 4X4, Bad boy exterior image, V6 with horsepower and torque, modest price-SR5 4X4 can be had for 29K with sunroof, cargo net, 17' rims, blk roof rack, and rear spoiler! |
Least favorite feature: |
No telescopic/tilt steering wheel, illuminated driver's door buttons or power heated outside mirrors standard on SR5. If you are over 6ft, the telescopic wheel would be much more comfy on long drives. |
Advice to buyer: |
A good buy especially if you want true off road capibilty--even if it's just to cross a wide deep median to avoid a stopped traffic jam! Be aware that accessories are limited and costly from dealer....use the internet. I got a rear spoiler 4 $275 vs $600 |
Detailed review: |
2004 4Runner just looks monster bad! I like the outside look to the new generation 4runner. Galatica Gray Mica is a great color because it looks gray under some conditions, a bluish tint under others, and yet a purplish tint when beneath amber nighttime street lighting. Look for value...do not pay more than $500 over dealer invoice. Go with the Sport edition or if you get the SR5; add the spoiler, 17 inch rims and JBL 3in1 sound system with 10 speakers. |
