Test drive both auto and stick, forget the a-apec and go independent aftermarket |
Detailed review: |
I simply love this car and plan to buy one w/in the next two weeks; only agonizing over auto/trip vs the 6sp manual. The manual seems much more potent and has none of the 'turbo-lag without the turbo'--acording to the sales rep:the auto has throttle by wire while the manual does not--nothing in the sales lit to verify this, but there is a huge difference IMO, so test drive both especially if performance is important. I'll likely add as aftermarket items 18' wheels, better tires, and high performance springs, which will tighten up the ride and not invalidate the warranty if done by the dealer--talking maybe 2500 vs 5k+ for the full a-spec. As 60mph can be reached in 2nd, and enough torque to lug around in third, I'll likely get the hot ticket! |
