Favorite feature:	Standard leather, sunroof, CD and 4WD

Advice to buyer:	Test drive other similar vehicles to compare...you'll be happy you did.
Detailed review:	Was ready to purchase a '99 Lexus RX300 with leather, sunroof, CD and AWD with @30K miles for around $33-35K. When I heard about the MDX I started to research it, liked what I read, so went to one of two dealers in the Twin Cities and drove one. I fell in love! What a bonus that all the things I'd have to pay extra for in the Lexus are standard in the MDX. The drive is excellent and the extra room is really nice. I am on a 4-month waiting list and can hardly wait until I get my 'truck'! I opted for the standard package, only adding about $400 worth of upgrades. I've heard that the roof rack can be noisy, and we don't ski, so we decided it wasn't worth the extra money. Same with the nav. system. My husband and I can read maps, so figured we'd save the two grand for the down payment. The other thing that's nice is that I have only seen a few on the road (each dealership is alloted 15 a month)....the Lexus is everywhere!
