Advice to buyer: |
Buy it. It's a great vehicle with far more versatility than the other luxury SUV's. |
Detailed review: |
We needed seating for at least 6, more cargo room than a sedan, and some degree of pampering, but the small Lexus SUV didn't have the seating, and the big Toyota/Lexus SUV was just too big, expensive, and fuel-hungry. We didn't really want a minivan, but we were prepared to buy a Toyota Sienna. But we couldn't get over the *experience* of driving the MDX in test drives. We eventually swallowed hard and paid the extra $$ to get the MDX, and we've been deliriously happy since. The MDX drives smoothly and quietly; it feels more like a car than any other SUV we tried except the small Lexus, but even the Lexus felt less stable than the MDX. |
