The recirculating air feature only works with the condensor on, which is not controllable.
Advice to buyer:
Get the quattro. Either engine is fine. This vehicle is the best bang for the buck with most options included. Get the heated seats if you get the vinyl or leather.
Detailed review:
Very smooth. The interior noise level is extraordinarily quiet. The Quattro feature allows me to park and go places other vehicles would have trouble in under snowy and icy conditions.
