In all fairness I've only had my Sorento for two days, but I will tell you that so far I'm EXTREMELY impressed with the quality and options compared to other SUV's in it's class. And the cubby holes are awesome. There's a place to put everything. Not to mention, this SUV looks like a Lexus, but half the price. I've always told my daughter that someday I'd own a Lexus SUV because I fell in love with their body design (knowing I never would). But now I own something better because I'm not going broke to drive something stylishly high class.
I'm a former Exploder owner and I was never so glad to get rid of it. It was a reliable vehicle the first few years but then it started to nickel and dime me to death (of course after the warranty was expired). The KIA Sorento has the best warranty out there, as far as I'm aware of.
I believe KIA is going to be a fierce competitor in the SUV (the entire auto market as far as that goes) market with their quality as well as their warranty. I would recommend that if you're thinking of buying one, DO IT NOW! I forsee KIA dropping their warranty term as soon as the secret is out. It's a marketing strategy right now I'm sure, to get the name out there; but I strongly believe that their vehicles will speak for themselves soon enough.
I will update my review as soon as I've driven it awhile. But I honestly don't see myself being disappointed and neither will you.
Oh, one more thing......since they are extemely competively priced, the value of your vehicle is ACTUALLY what you owe when you drive off the lot. They are not inflated at all. I saved at MINIMUM $5,000 compared to a similar SUV by other auto makers. |
