I have not purchased a x5 yet. However, I'm seriously looking at them. I currently own a lexus rx300. I have some resevations about the x5 with all the recalls. My friend owned a 535 in '92 and it was lemon. I mean a lemon. I convinced her to buy a ls400 which she did in '95. She would not even set foot in a BMW. Now the guy who convinced her to buy a lexus wants to by a bmw. I'm just rambling because I'm just not sure abut the bmw products. Can anyone add to this or help.
