Detailed review: |
After driving a 97 Maxima, I had a taste for luxury and speed. My next vehicle was a Jetta GLX. It was a sad disappointment from a performance and a comfort standpoint. The Jetta is simply too small for a 6'3' person and the performance was sub par. After some horribile quality problems, I test drove a WRX wagon and was thouroughly hooked. I can say this WRX is the fastest car I have ever owned and every day I drive reinforces the belief that this is the best car I have ever owned. It is lacking in luxury features, but the power the car delivers is truly intoxicating and makes up for any other shortcomings ( I have not found any yet). The car has more than enough headroom due to WRC heritage and the need to wear race helmets. It also has ample room for the outdoor recreations that I enjoy (mountain biking, snowboarding, etc.). Only dislikes are:
1. Needs more power features (passenger side one touch up/down window controls) and sunroof.
2. Antenna placement on A pillar |
