The plastic trim in the base model interior seems a little cheap for a car this price.
Advice to buyer:
Test drive all the competitors and you will find the Highlander is on top of the list.
Detailed review:
Test drove the Highlander and loved the ride and quiteness of the engine. The car accelerated great with the V6 and the interior was airy and roomy. Everything seemed to be laid out thoughtfully. While it is not as glamous as it's cousin the Lexus RX300 it is larger and has all the comforts one could use. I test drove the Escape and Liberty and it was no comparison. Toyota knows how to get it right.
