Favorite feature: |
There are too many...probably how gorgeous it is, though...or that engine... |
Least favorite feature: |
The shockingly small trunk (9-3 withdrawl...), pain-in-the-ass front cupholders located where only the double-jointed have access to them. Also, the tires aren't the best...I'm gonna switch 'em with Potenza SO2s. |
Advice to buyer: |
Go for the manual - the auto is nice, but to truly have the experience you need the stick (it's a very good one, I might add)...oh, and kill the stability program, it's a nuisance it's so damned good. |
Detailed review: |
My God! She flies! When it was time to give up my beloved 2000 Saab 9-3 SE, I found myself in an automotive landscape which had changed quite a lot over the three years since I'd last ventured into it. Under the guidance of my car-nut son, I began test-driving the usuals...then we found the G. I didn't bother to try a 330i or S60 on for size...one spin was enough. If I was convinced of my chioce when I drove the auto tranny version, I was won when I sat in my M6 when she arrived in the first shipment of stickshifts to Canada. It's been about three months now, and I'm completely at home with nothing but praise for this masterpiece - it's beautiful, powerful as hell (you wanna make it real great - tune another 40 horses outta that silky engine), and almost perfect in virtually every aspect. I apologize to people all the time after giving them the mistaken impression that I payed 50+ thousand (Canadian) for this beauty! WOW. |
