If you want a great mid-size SUV and don't mind if it is a Chevy -- buy it! |
Detailed review: |
After 202,000 miles on our Ford Aerostar, my wife was in the mood for something new. In Oct. 2002, no vans 'fit' us or our needs so we looked at SUV's. Only the Trailblazer matched my three main criteria: Horsepower (275 with I-6, best in class), Turning Diameter is tightest in class, and Interior Ergonomics. All elements, in our estimation, were perfect. I was reluctant to buy another Chevy product since we and my in-laws have NEVER had a GM product that didn't have problems. We never got past 60,000 miles without the AC compressor failing, among other quality issues. Sure enough, this summer at 59,600 miles, our AC condensor went out. Otherwise, this is a great vehicle. |
