Hemi; ride quality; room for family of five; Canadian model has an Alpine audio system
Least favorite feature:
Cheap Interior door trim & dash materials
Advice to buyer:
Go with HEMI option and AWD; heated seats; caution about fuel mileage
Detailed review:
Just moved up from a 2002 Durango SLT Plus and this 2006 Hemi Adventurer is superior in every way. Hemi engine is smooth and powerful; roomy interior; excellent leather seats & audio system; quiet cabin. AWD with stability program works well in snow and ice; ride is excellent and great handling vehicle; heavy SUV but once rolling the Hemi performs but with only satisfactory fuel mileage. No major gripes whatsoever, except cheap interior trim materials. With big incentives and 1.8% lease interest rate, a steal of a deal for a very capable SUV.
