Consider where you live and how 'fancy' a car you expect
Detailed review:
My 2005 Corolla is the most attractive car I've ever owned; however I'm disappointed in some other features. I've felt relatively safe and confident in the mechanical quality, though half a dozen times in the last year it hasn't started right away. This is disappointing as my 1987 Corolla was AWESOME. Gas mileage is 32 highway when it should be getting 38 (last Corolla got 40 hwy). Worst of all, this car cannot get out of its own way. Terrible in winter weather. I believe that what was expected and what I got is quite different. Shouldn't these cars get BETTER as they are redefined? Having said that, I would recommend the Corolla CE to someone living down south and who doesn't care about lacking the bells and whistles.
