The computer system is terrible, i have had it fixed 4 times now. Its been recalled at least once and they are on their 4th software upgrade. |
Advice to buyer: |
Don't buy this car unless your brother in law is an Audi dealer. It is a lemon pure and simple. Minor malfunctions like the power steering and wipers failing happen to other cars. But the poor design of the computer is maddening. |
Detailed review: |
The car handles reasonably well and it always feels like there is power to spare. However, compared to the BMW 745 there is significantly more body lean. The BMW also has much quicker response to throttle inputs. The transmission is very good and shifts are almost imperceptible. This can also be a liability if you want any sportyness out of the driving experience. Handling in snow is good, but does not live up to the hype of the dealer, you would think they sold you a Hummer. The space and layout of the interior are what really set it apart from the BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar. But beware of the front cup holder situated in the front computer. One splash and you are looking at a $750 repair bill. |
