I have a 2001 Toyota Sequoia I purchased in November 2000. Absolutely the best rig I have ever had. It has been in the worst off-road conditions imaginable in Montana and nothing could beat it. I have had ford pick-ups, chevy suburbans and Toyota Land Cruisers in the Mountains of Montana. Nothing is as stable as the Sequoia. Power could be better on the highway but Toyota seems to take pride in under powered SUV's. The Lexus Flagship LX470 for $70K only has 230HP? Toyota should be utterly ashamed. A little more power would be helpful and a little better road handiling but this rig is S-M-O-O-T-H and quiet in all circumstances and has the best MPG in its class. Now I want a Lexus based on the Sequoia platform wuith too much HP. In addition, I payed $35K in 11/2000 and the rig still books(NADA Trade-in) for $24K 4 years and 70K miles later? Beat that.
