I own a Stratus R/T 2001 model. Handling for size and weight is very GOOD. Accelaration with Auto Stick is strong but feels far better in 5 spd Manual R/T. Visibility is excellent and with Chromed Rims in Midnight Blue, some heads do turn, particularly at speed, which this car does not lack. I haven't approached the end of the speedo, but well into triple digits, its still got muscle and glides smooth like an early morning skate. Stopping is adequate but the transmission/engine mounts don't hold up to high RPM shifts in Auto Stick (at 50,000 mile it needs its third replacement--tell 'em to make sure they don't order the like numbered Sebring part (2 times)--it wont fit! ) Great car, a few tweaks could make it awesome. |
