Buy used - too much depreciation when you outgrow the 'second childhood'. |
Detailed review: |
I've owned the car two years and I am always taking it to the shop for one thing or another. The tires need to be replaced every 20,000 miles - sport tires have no guarantee. The rear panel kept coming away from the body of the car and it took two trips to the dealer to get it fixed. The low body means it will take all the road abuse other cars throw at you. I've replaced two headlights, the windshield, and had to repair the hood from road debris and falling items from trucks. There is something wrong with the brakes that the dealer can't find a cure for - and this problem keeps the car from going forward unless I turn the key off, press on the brakes really hard, and restart the car. Sometimes, I have to do it more than once. It's really hard to see the curbs, too, and if you run up on one, be prepared to buy a new rim. I've had to buy one of those, too. Now the fuel gauge is acting up... unreliable. I enjoy the car, but it has needed a lot more attention than I am used to having to give to a car. I wish I had never gotten rid of my Honda Accord EX V-6. In fact, I'm going to sell this BMW Z-4 and get another Honda Accord (Hybrid). I never had a problem with the Honda. |
