This is the dream car. Performance wise, it does what it claims to do. Fast and sporty with one glitch. The breaks squeeks like there is no tomorrow. Not only that, your rims will turn black almost every week. It generates a metalic dust that clings to the rims of the car. To add icing to the cake, Infinity dealers will not assist you or even entertain your request due to the fact that, according to them, 'high performance breaks are suppose to squeek!' and pretty much makes you feel like an idiot for even questioning your safety. I bought a G35 about 4 months ago. The service was excellent when I purchased the vehicle, but trying to address my issue to both the service departments and the Infinity Business Bureau is rediculous. A representative from the Infinity Business Bureau actually said, 'If the dealers and the manufacturers are both telling you that the brakes are suppose to squeek and it is perfectly safe to do so, why are you questioning it?' and that comment just about wraps it up. When I questioned the fact that why I was not informed of this defect when I purchased the car, she basically made me feel like an idiot because 'stupid me' did not ask. |
