Truck holds up well in high speed freeway and offroad daily in an openpit mining environment. Suspension and large tires are great for running over those 6' rocks and 3' ruts that abound in the mining environment.
Road noise on the freeway has always been excessive. The windows rattle with the windows down. The seats are very uncomfortable. At the price, I think that seats like in the Ford Explorer would be in order. The rear end lockup is a bit of a joke as is the transmission optimization feature.
Based on the seats, I will not be buying a new Tacoma.
