Favorite feature: |
The large and powerful powertrain with the shift on the fly 4WD. |
Least favorite feature: |
That the temperature controls were so difficult to set. I found myself baking during the day and freezing at night sometimes. |
Advice to buyer: |
Just familiarize themselves with the controls; read their owner's manuals, and have a great time. |
Detailed review: |
The MDX had very good acceleration from the line although in the higher end gears it did have a tendency to lag behind. This however was only in the upper most gears at a high RPM. The constant power coming from the powerplant and it's unending torque do give the driver the feeling of being able to pull anything while at the same time being babied in a rich and luxurious velvety smooth feline coat. The handling was almost feline like, sure footed and sleek with the large front window giving the driver a great view of the road. The luscious leather gives a nice touch, although some of the controls could have been much easier to find and use while driving. Beside the radio, everything else was virtually out of my control due to traffic, which any normal driver would face. Once I got the hang of it though, it became much easier. I would suggest to any driver to familiarize themselves with this vehicle before venturing out into traffic. Once you do, the road will be at your fingertips.
