Detailed review: |
Looked at 2002 Explorer, steering wheel seemed much lower than my 1998 Explorer. Then drove the 2002 Expedition with 5.4 engine and 17 inch wheels. Steering wheel was comfortable, not too low like 2002 Explorer, more like 1998 Explorer. Few months after purchase drove from OK to FL, gas mileage was low to mid 20's. That fall drove from Dallas, TX to OK City, OK after filling gas tank in Frisco, TX, averaged over 28 MPG on that trip. Love the Expedition. My wife did not like the Explorer, but loves the Expedition. My other car is a 2001 Buick Lesabre, have trouble getting in and out of Buick due to my height and long legs as I am 6'-4' tall, Expediton is easy for me to enter and exit. |
