Advice to buyer:	Don't go for the first deal offered. They will deal in price and options.
Detailed review:	I bought this Sportage new. I'd had two KIA made autos before and thought it would be a good vehicle. I have had lots of problems with it. The power window went out, the exhaust pipe separated from the cat. converter, the front brakes wore out at 47000 miles and the rotors had to be replaced. They were under the nominal specs (I checked them myself). Kia claimed that the rotors normally wear out that fast. Personally, I find that hard to swallow but they refused to do anything about it. I've also had several little problems that have taken time at the dealer with them keeping the car for work and no loaner car. The car rides rough but I attribute most of that to the 4wd suspension and the short wheelbase. I do feel that the car itself is a good car. I happen to have gotten a slight lemon but I know others who have no problems. I do like the 4wd. In Kansas City, when it snows, the extra traction is great.
