 Advice to buyer:

It is overall a nice vehicle... my opinion may not be the same as others....

 Detailed review:

I actually own this vehicle. The reason I bought it was for the 250hp Honda engine. I was not disappointed! It is as smooth as butter, and power galore. Overall, I like my VUE, but It is frustrating to see American vehicles still coming up short. The interior is a joke. It is well laid out, and ergonomic, but the materials used is junk. The door armrest handles feel like they are going to fall apart whenever I touch them. They creak and groan like a wicker basket. Annoying! The climate control knobs feel like they are going to snap off when you use them. The grey, knobby, hard plastic door panels, and cargo area is junk. The handle that operates the passenger seat doesnt work very well, and is flimsy, and feels like its going to snap off. The rear seat config is retarded. The split is 70/30 with the 30% on the passenger side, so that with the front seat folded flat, you cant even get anything of size on that side without folding both rear seats down. The releases are also on the back, where you can barely reach them. The Equinox figured it out, and has a 60/40 config, and the seat release is on the top of the seatback like 99.9% of every other vehicle on the planet. I find it an insult to American car makers, when a Kia has a much better quality interior than the $25,000 Vue I bought. Do these guys even look at the competition?? I would go on, but I only have 500 words. Although I have been a little harsh, It is still overall a good value. If it didnt have the Honda motor in it, I would guarantee my tune would be much different.
