Advice to buyer: |
If you get a 1997, make sure the dealer drills out the rear quarter panel drain holes, especially if you park under leafy trees. This caused my water leak from the rear. |
Detailed review: |
I bought my 97 Sebring JX Conv in Feb 98. It was a former program car. There is not much about this car I dislike. It has been extremely reliable and the few problems I have come across have been handled by the local dealer with no complaints. If you want a fast sports car convertible, look elsewhere. But if you want a car that seats 3-4 + luggage and can get you there in style, then this car is for you. I've read Chrysler upped the horsepower from 168 to 200 in the last year, and that's probably the only thing I'd like changed. I'll be replacing my 97 with a 01 within the next couple of months, just want to get more horsepower and leather seats. This will be the first time I've ever considered replacing my car with the same model again. |
