I originally wanted a Honda CR-V but couldn't afford it so I settled for the Sportage. I regretted that decision almost instantly after the purchase. After owning the car for only a few months, the paint on the hood started chipping. There are now little gray specs all over the hood. There are also a couple of spots on the car where it is starting to rust. The pick-up is horrible. You go from 0-60 mph in what seems like 2 minutes. The weather stripping on the doors is so horrible that it sounds like you're going through a wind tunnel when travelling over 60 mph. Sitting in the back seat is so bumpy it feels like you're in an army jeep. Several little things have gone wrong with the car since I bought it. It is the worst purchase I've ever made. I can't even trade it now because the trade in value is absolutely horrible. I should have known better than to buy a car from people who started out making bicyles. I highly recommend the CR-V instead. Much more features and I don't anyone who's bought one that didn't love it.
