I bought this car because it was everything a sports/luxury sedan should be, only it was literally 'thousands' of dollars less. I love the European look and the fact that you don't see this car on every corner. The ride is exceptional and the performance is immediate and rewarding. My wife, who knows little or nothing about cars (she identifies a car by its color, not it's make), absolutely loves this car. She loves the color (Manhattan Beige Pearl), the seats and particularily the way it drives.
I have been test driving ever car in this price catagory for the last 6 weeks, including a Mazda Millenia S (I currently own a '95), BMW 5 series (2 yrs. olds), a VW Passat, a Chrysler 300M, a Acura TL and a RL (2 yrs. old), a Jaguar X, a Lincloln LS (V8) and a Volvo S60. None of those vehicles were, in my opinion, significantly better than the Diamante, and all were considerably more expensive. What a great car and it gets better every day I own and drive it. |
