I test drove an Outlander, Galant and Lancer. I couldn't see around the headrests on the Outlander and the Lancer just didn't do it for me. This is my 4th Galant and the best one so far. I had an absolutely wonderful car buying experience at Burlington Mitsubishi in S. Burlington, VT. As a return customer they bent over backwards to show their appreciation for sticking with Mitsubishi. The new look of the Galant is great, the interior is well appointed for someone who is vertically challenged the seats fit nice under the thighs (not too long) and I can see over and around the head rests. The new 3 year inclusive service incentive and 5 year warranty were one of the deciding features of staying with a Mitsubishi.
