 Detailed review:

I test drove the 2006 GL, 4 cylinder. Power was adequate for a car of that size. Had many features and was very quiet. For all the good things this car has, it should have been at the top of my want list, but unfortunately it wasn't. After doing more research, I came to realize it wasn't as good as a deal as it seemed. First, my insurance was going to increase by $150 per year over what I pay for my 2000 Taurus. I also did a 'true cost of ownership' and I found out that the projected first year depreciation will be $6650. That's quite a drop. Just to give a comparison, the Honda Accord will only drop by $2887. The $1000 dollar customer cash rebate they are offering now is only if you finance through Hyundai @ 6.9%. I can get a loan from my credit union now for 4.25%. If I finance through Hyundai, the $1000 will be eaten up over the 5 years from finance charges. This is just a 'buyer beware'. You think you are getting a great deal now but you will be 'in the bucket' for many years. If you decide to trade after 3-4 years, you'll find out what a lousy deal you really got. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself.
