Detailed review: |
In March of 2005, I will turn 46 years old. The Lincoln LS is the worst vehicle that I have ever owned since I started driving at age 16.
For this to be a luxury car, the designers missed the boat. I am 5'11 and 190 pounds. If I drive the LS more than 25 miles, my legs go to sleep. I have to sit sideways in order to accelerate. Obviously, I did not foresee this long distance driving problem when I test drove it.
It is also a gas guzzler. If you fill the tank with gas with less octane than 91, expect the engine light to come on.
The appearance of the vehicle made it attractive. However, service calls back to an unresponsive dealership, made me vow to never lease/buy another vehicle from this location.
Bottomline, it was not worth the money spent.
In fact, Lincoln Mercury should provide me with a 10-thousand dollar rebate on my next Ford purchase, due to the pain and suffering endured with my 3-year nightmare with the LS.
Right now, if I had my choice between the LS and a stagecoach, I'd jump in behind the horse any day!
Shame on Lincoln Mercury. When it comes to this car, your engineers were sleep at the wheel. |
