Advice to buyer: |
For any car---Rent the model you like before you buy one! |
Detailed review: |
We rented a brand new Stratus for a month, which gave us more than enough time to decide it was not for us! It had nice looks and trunk space was more than adequate. The cab-forward design was comfortable enough and passengers frequently sat cross-legged in the ample back seat. But the car constantly lurched forward upon acceleration, no matter how carefully the gas pedal was applied. It became absolutely annoying to be jarred forward all the time!
I highly recommend renting a car of the same model you are considering, for at least a few days, prior to purchasing. A car is a big investment you'll have to live with for awhile and you'll likely spend many hours of your life there. Find out what you're in for BEFORE you've committed yourself! A short test drive just doesn't give you enough information.
