Advice to buyer:	find out everything you can about the car you want before you buy it .
Detailed review:	I've been driving the 2001 Nissan Sentra Gxe for about a year now, I have about 22,000 miles on it, and have some complaints. Sometimes when I drive it the gas light turns on, and my gas meter goes all the way to empty. I don't understand why this happens and no one seems to have an explanation, but when this happens I pull over and restart my car. Then the gas light turns off, and my gas meter goes back up. Also sometimes when I make a right or left hand turn, the steering wheel locks up and my car starts to skid. I've also had problems with the alarm not working, and most of the time when I break I hear a crackling noise coming from the front of my car. Their have also been two recalls on it for bolts falling off, which the dealer replaced, and wheels cracking and coming apart. If you are planning on purchasing a 2001 Nissan Sentra GXE, I would seriously reconsider if safety is important to you.
