 Detailed review:

If it weren't for the price and BMW logo on my X5, I'd really wonder if it was a Beemer. Quality control on the X5 leaves a lot to be desired. The 2001 line is recalled every few months. This isn't a major scheduling problem for me because my car is usually in the shop having assorted other problems fixed. Accelerating in the 3.0 is an adventure. It's sluggish until the transmission kicks in, then you shoot forward like a rocket. Add two or three passengers and this can be lots of fun. We've had this car two years. We are selling it.
