Advice to buyer: |
Make your own judgement: 'Do I want a loaded, but super unreliable Sportage, or Toyota Rav4 that has the necessary things and is super-reliable.' |
Detailed review: |
The Kia Sportage is definately a nice vehicle-not as nice as Toyota, but their catching up, quickly. But I cant say many good things about it because it's so troublesome. The V-6 engine is the main problem, while refined while cruising, it jerks on shifts and has reliability issues. I've had to replace sparkplugs already, a container for the oil, which was leaking oil, and so on. Also I have to replace the trasnmission-thankfully covered by warranty. The interior is nicely designed, but are full of rattles, which gets really annoying, especially in a new car. Kia tried to fix this, but unlike Nissan, which had the same problem, they haven't been able to fix it. I will try Kia again later, maybe in 10 years. The last Kia I had was a 95 Sephia or somethin that was one horrible car. For now, I plan to trade in the Kia for another car- maybe a Toyota Rav4. |
