Detailed review: |
It's a nice ride. I just traded in my super-crew F-150 which I liked for all the room it offered. With the 500, I didn't give up anything and I got leather seats. I have logged a few hundred miles now and only have a few complaints...
1) When using the auto-volume speed controls on the radio, the sound gets tinny.
2) No telescoping on the steering column.
3) Could use a few more HPs.
Getting 22+ MPG in mixed driving. I would guess about 25 MPGs or better on longer freeway trips, especially with cruise set. Fits the family great. Easy to get in and out. Child seats are a little tough to first install, and can only fit two, but the rear anchor was easy to attach. Saved $6500 with A-Plan and rebates! |
