 Comments

 Favorite feature:

Roominess, all purpose use, good V6 power and uses 87 octane fuel.

 Least favorite feature:

Too much plastic in the interior, then it is not sold as a luxury SUV either.

 Advice to buyer:

Saturn reliability is good and is big on customer feedback. Improvements continue to be made on the VUE. Check it out.

 Detailed review:

Have owned a 2003 Saturn VUE, V6, AWD, for over one year. It is our second Saturn vehicle purchase. Have nothing but praise for the Saturn Dealer in our area. Overall really like the VUE. Have the leather package, moon roof, bra, chromed wheels and rear spoiler. Problems all covered under warranty: 1. Gas gauge sending unit replaced. 2. Rattle in dash board at freeway speeds, replaced hood hinge unit. Vehicle does exibit torque steer when punching the accellerator to pass. Understand this problem has been addressed in the 04 models and up. Overall, my family and I have been pleased with this vehicle. The 04 models and up, with the V6 option, offer the Honda 3.5 liter 250 HP. Since we do not use ours for towing, the 3.0 liter, 180 HP engine does fine for all of our needs. With the 5 speed automatic, it has good torque at the low end. It has plenty of power for passing and steep hill climbing, on a paved road surface even with the vehicle loaded. Plenty of storage space and just a good all purpose vehicle for hauling people or loads.
