Detailed review: |
As I opened the door to the 2001 Galant, I sensed a quality feeling. The ride was very smmoth and the cabin was refined. It keyed the ignition twice because the engine was too quiet.
I liked the front seat comfort. The Galant V6 has an immediate acceleration. The dealer claims it goes 0-60mph in 7.6secs. That is quite good for an automatic.
I like the features alot and the car alwayse seemed to remind me of a Lexus. (For those who never drove a Lexus, that's a good thing!)
Before, I was never a Mitsubishi fan simply because I was never too concious about the effeciency and reliability in a car. Well, I went Chevy, Dodge and Oldsmobile and as you probally know, power and price isn't everything. I had nothing but problems with them sice day one.
Many car enthusiasts back the Galant 100% and it is also rated car of the year, best in class and J.D Power approved in reliability. Thats pretty much all I might need for a long time. |
