I bought the mustang v8 convertible with a 5 speed transmission based on all the glowing reports. I did not drive the car before ordering it as none were available and I am sorry I bought it. The transmission, clutch throughout bearing setup is junk. Yes, the whining, clunking and poor shifting is just junk. Complete junk. A 55 ford had better mechanics.
