"I LOVE my Toyota!"

"Drives excellent. Nice off road package, tow-package also.
Does very well in mudd, rain, snow, climbing rough roads.
The ride is very smooth, plenty of power for a V-6 and excellent gas mileage. Build very well, and would buy two if I had the money. Toyota has build another excellent truck.
Also plenty of passing power in the V-6. Takes curves very well. In side the Cab is very comfortable and plenty of room.
Thanks Toyota for building a excellent truck."

"The truck drives, handles, and runs great. As far as the noise on the TRD's, mine does not have any. You might check the location of the trailer hitch mount some dealers mount them too deep into the frame and that could be what is 'bottoming out' on the suspensoin. The only thing I would change is a little more movement in the steering wheel. It needs about an inch more freedom both in/out and up/down. I have gotten numerous compliments on this truck, and I hope to drive it for 20 years! The 245hp. V6 has plenty of pulling power as well."

"Purchased my Tacoma in Dec of 04 and have put about 3000 miles on it, including a trip to Jackson Hole, Wy. Have no complaints what so ever. I have had no problems with the front end noise the others are describing. I also have a 94 Toyota extended cab, and will probably never own another truck. I love the room in the double cab and I love the interior's new look. I'm really glad I held out for the 05. This is the last word in trucks as far as I'm concerned."

"Purchased end of December after driving new 2005 trucks Frontier, Dakota, and Canyon. Have 3,300 miles including trip to S.F. Ca.. Quality craftsmanship, pulls mountain passes well with full load, and tracks well on ice and snow.
Averages over 18 mpg and gives impression it will hold up like our old Tacoma. I've only noticed the front end suspension noise indicated in other reviews once, and that was hitting a bump at high speed.
