"I did so much research before I got this car. I checked Consumer reports, ratings & comparisons. I basically had my mind set on getting a Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra or a Honda Civic. I looked at all of these makes & since I was right by the Nissan dealership I thought, I might as well check the Sentra out also. I have a 1990 Sentra that I have for 10 years & have never had any problems with it, but thought I wanted to try something different this time. I was so surprised how much the Sentra has changed. It no longer looks like a little box. It has great styling, comfort & options. It is so comfortable to drive. It feels like it was made jus"

"Great car for the buck! This isn't your average everyday sedan anymore. I got the extra Snergy package and it enhances the cars looks a bunch, in my opinion, without sacrificing the things most people buy them for, economics and a quality product. Nice riding, good handling vehicle that's very responsive. Back seat is a bit small for an adult."

"I purchased my Sentra GXE (new) in September of 2003 and after a little over 2 years of use haven't been let down. Some minor problems - dashboard rattles and a noisey alternator pulley that kicks-in with damp weather conditions.
Good gas mileage and good front seat comfort for a small car."

"Have had the car for about 700 miles now and like the car except for the gas milage, which hopefully will improve, and I wish the a/c blew stronger on the lower settings. Car drives very nicely and the brakes are very good. Glad they upgraded the tires to 15' this year. For the price I paid, am satisfied with the car."

"The Sentra has more pickup than I thought it would, especially with only a 1.8L engine. It handles well and hugs the road nicely. It's not the type of car that's going to comfortably drive 70+ mph on long trips but it's a great 2nd car which is the reason we bought it and we expect it to last us years. Very roomy inside, especially for a compact."

" wish it had a little more get up & go when you first take off" "The compartment between the front seats is too small and not comfortable when using it for it's other purpose, an arm rest." "Selecting '2' on Sentra's automatic won't lock-out 1st gear for snowbelt driving." "Gas Mileage" "Lack of 'luxury' options."
