Saab owners have found a challenge in remaining loyal over the past several years. During that time, they've seen their beloved Swedish brand bought out by General Motors, and the result was the release of two new pseudo-Saabs, better known as rebadged Subarus and Chevrolets. To those who lust after quirky and unique transportation, a glorified Chevy just ain't gonna cut it. But, the 2005 Geneva Auto Show marked a possible turnaround with the debut of the 2006 Saab 9-3 Sportwagon. This five-door wagon is the first recently introduced Saab that is based on an actual Swedish vehicle and is not simply a product of badge engineering.
Due to arrive at dealers' lots by November 2005, the 2006 Saab 9-3 Sportwagon is expected to start at about $30,000.
