What's New for 2007: Pickup Trucks
| GMC Sierra |

Expect the redesigned 2007 GMC Sierra (a 2006 model is shown) to sport the same DNA as the new Chevrolet Silverado, sharing basic design forms inside and out but with unique “professional grade” styling detail. An educated guess says that under the hood the Sierra will have a standard V6 and three V8 options, the most popular being the 5.3-liter with Active Fuel Management and E85 capability. A larger 6.0-liter V8 is likely to land on the options list as well, and be assured that the GMC’s towing capacity will be increased so as not to be outdone by Toyota. A turbodiesel will also be available to power the heavy-hauler 2500- and 3500-series trucks.
